All members of the VT community are invited to attend a guest lecture and workshop by Dr. Gabriel Trop (UNC-Chapel Hill) on the topic "Friedrich Schelling and Speculative Literary Criticism". The talk will address the question of what a Schellingian practice of literary criticism might look like by reconstructing speculative modes of thinking and writing in the context of German Idealism. The paper for the talk will be pre-circulated in advance via e-mail to all participants who RSVP to attend the talk.
