Come to Schoolhouse 18 to see our new rain garden and learn how we installed it. The Fauquier County Master Gardeners partnered with Virginia Conservation Assistance Program to build the first demonstration rain garden in Fauquier County. Rain garden benefits include pollution control, flooding protection, habitat creation and water conservation. The schoolhouse rain garden includes a wide variety of native plants.
